Hi, I loved the beginning excerpt; it gives me a very good sense of the vampire mindset, even if the person in question may not be quite a vampire yet. It makes me want to click buy, which is a very good thing. But…and I hate to say this…I don’t like the cover. What’s the feedback you usually get on it? I may be the lone dissenter.

Glad you like it! On the cover, I haven’t had anyone say that before, in fact the opposite (especially in paperback form) but feedback is always welcome. Artwork is often subjective I suppose, I’ve seen many which some people love that have made me feel icky. Whatever floats the proverbial boat I suppose. Surprisingly, a lot of guys have picked it the book and I think for them the pop-culture, comic book/contemporary vibe is probably a bit more appealing than some. (ps I love a dissenter… there is a lot to be said for the role of a devils advocate in making things better)

Yeah, there’s a lot of variation in opinion, especially in covers. Now that I think about it, I could see the cover appealing to guys. Myself, I tend to go for more ethereal/Gothic covers, so that’s probably I don’t personally like it. I’m too used to the YA genre. 😀
